Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete New Jersey Barrier — Mold Design & Manufacturing Innovation
Designed and developed an industrial mold for a new generation of New Jersey concrete barriers using steel fiber reinforced concrete technology. Unlike traditional road barriers that rely on thick steel reinforcement bars embedded in the concrete mass, this innovative design eliminates conventional steel armature by integrating steel fibers directly into the concrete composition. The project focused on mold engineering, manufacturability, structural efficiency, and adapting production for modern reinforced concrete solutions used in road safety infrastructure.
Briny Saline Aerosol Device — Respiratory Wellness System with Salt-Based Air Microclimate Technology
Designed and developed a wellness device that generates a controlled saline aerosol by combining salt cartridges, water vapor, and airflow. The system recreates a salt-rich microclimate environment similar to saline inhalation spaces, supporting everyday respiratory comfort and breathing wellness for home use. Thermoforming Mold Design for Plastic Bowls — Interchangeable Inserts & Conformal Cooling
Designed an industrial thermoforming mold system for the production of plastic bowls on a Kiefel KMD78 Speedformer thermoforming machine. The project includes a complex tooling setup consisting of the mold, die, and stacking unit, engineered for mass production efficiency. The mold features interchangeable inserts, allowing multiple bowl height variations using the same base tooling architecture. An advanced conformal cooling system was integrated into the mold design, an uncommon solution in thermoforming tools, improving thermal control, cycle time, and part consistency during high-volume production.
FPV RC Car Top Trunk System — Integrated DJI Camera Housing, VTX Enclosure & Thermal Cooling Design
Designed a fully integrated top trunk system for RC cars housing a DJI camera and video transmission (VTX) system, enabling real-time FPV driving through goggles. The project covers complete mechanical and industrial design of the enclosure, including secure mounting architecture, airflow management, and cooling strategy to ensure stable electronics performance during operation. FPV RC Formula 1 Car Spoiler Integration — Embedded DJI Camera & VTX System with Thermal Management Design
Designed an integrated FPV system for mini Formula-style RC cars by embedding a DJI camera and video transmission (VTX) module directly into the rear spoiler structure. The project replaces external mounting solutions with a fully integrated aerodynamic design, ensuring minimal drag and improved mechanical protection. The system includes internal routing for electronics and a dedicated thermal management strategy to maintain stable operation during high-speed driving. This approach combines industrial design, embedded electronics integration, and aerodynamic optimization for immersive FPV racing performance.
FPV RC Speedboat Canopy Integration — Embedded DJI Camera & VTX System with Waterproof Enclosure Design
Designed an integrated FPV system for RC speedboats by embedding a DJI camera and video transmission (VTX) unit directly into the boat canopy structure. The project focuses on creating a compact, sealed enclosure that protects sensitive electronics from water exposure while maintaining optimal signal transmission and thermal management. Special attention was given to waterproofing strategy,, internal cable routing, and thermal behavior in confined marine environments. The result is a fully integrated FPV solution that enables real-time onboard perspective for immersive RC boating experiences.
